A New Turkey Has Joined the Coop! 🦃✨

ree

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, my hooks have been busy bringing a new friend to life: my crochet turkey! This one has been such a joy to create, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.

Last year, I made a mini turkey that was a big hit (and one of my favorite projects at the time), but this year my crochet skills have grown so much. I wanted to revisit the idea and bring it to life in a bigger, bolder way. The result? A brand-new turkey plush with colorful feathers, little wings and feet, and so much personality. 🧶

One of my favorite parts about making this turkey was experimenting with the feathers. I’ve tried four different versions of tail feathers, and with each one, I got a little closer to what I envisioned. My latest design is definitely my favorite—it really gives the turkey that festive Thanksgiving charm!

If you’d like to make your own turkey, the digital crochet patternĀ is now available on my website. Or, if you’d prefer to skip the stitches and bring home a handmade friend, you can also grab one of the finished plush turkeysĀ from my shop. Either way, these little gobblers make a perfect seasonal decoration or gift.

Preparing for Craft Fair Season

I’m also in full prep mode for my November craft fair! Building up stock is always a fun challenge, and I love seeing which items people gravitate toward. Last time, I brought a bin full of mini creations, and the mini chickensĀ were such a crowd favorite that I knew I had to bring them back this year. Minis just have a special kind of magic—cute, collectible, and perfect for gifts.

Alongside my turkeys, I’m also excited to share that gnomesĀ are coming soon! They’re such a cozy, whimsical project, and I can’t wait to add them to my holiday lineup.

Thankful & Inspired

Crochet has become such a meaningful way for me to celebrate the seasons and share joy with others. This turkey represents not just Thanksgiving, but also the growth I’ve made in my craft. I’m so thankful for the chance to create, share, and connect with all of you through my work.

Be sure to check out the Turkey PatternĀ or the finished Turkey PlushĀ on my website if you’d like to add a handmade touch to your Thanksgiving this year. And if you’ll be at my November craft fair, come say hi—I’ll have turkeys, minis, and (fingers crossed) some festive gnomes ready to meet you.
