Keep Going – Growth Takes Time, but Passion is the Fuel

I’ve posted before about my journey on social media and how I’ve been growing — slowly, steadily, and organically. And today, I wanted to reflect a little more on that growth, where I am now, and what’s coming next.
Let’s start with a little update. The numbers have changed — and even though they might seem small to some, to me, they’re a reminder that hard work pays off and people are connecting with what I do.

Here’s where I was before:
Facebook: 2 likes / 6 followers
Instagram: 5 followers
YouTube: 16 subscribers
TikTok: 2,057 likes / 1,237 followers
And here’s where I’m at now:
Facebook: 12 likes / 19 followers
Instagram: 10 followers
YouTube: 45 subscribers
TikTok: 4,787 likes / 1,382 followers
It’s not about going viral overnight — it’s about building something real. Every single follower, like, and subscriber I’ve gained has been 100% organic. I haven’t paid for ads or promoted posts. It’s all happened naturally, and that honestly means the world to me.
What’s even more exciting? This is just the beginning.
I have so many plans. More plushies, new patterns, creative designs — my head is full of ideas. The only limit right now is time (seriously, why are there only 24 hours in a day?! 😅). But I’m doing my best to keep creating, one stitch at a time.
Recently, I bought a bunch of new yarn (okay, maybe more than I needed… or maybe just enough, depending how you look at it 😄). I actually filmed an unboxing video where I share some sneak peeks and plans for upcoming plushies and projects — so if you’re curious or just love a good yarn haul, definitely stay tuned for that!
I really want to take a moment to say: Thank you. To every person who has liked, followed, subscribed, commented, or even just watched — your support keeps me going. I appreciate you more than I can put into words. You’re not just numbers on a screen. You’re part of this journey with me. And I’m beyond grateful.
If you’re someone out there chasing your own passion — whatever it is — let me tell you this: keep going. Growth might be slow. The to-do list might feel never-ending. You might have days where you wonder if anyone’s even noticing your work. But they are. And your passion is what makes it worth it.
Don’t give up. Don’t stop creating. Whether you’ve got 5 followers or 5,000, your voice, your art, your presence matters.
I’m going to keep showing up, keep creating, and keep dreaming — and I hope you do too. There’s so much more ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Glamorous Sloth Crochet
