My 2026 Goals for My Crochet Business: Growing With Purpose and Consistency

As I step into year three of my crochet business, I’ve been reflecting on how far I’ve come and where I want to go next. Growth has been slow—but it has been growth. Every craft fair, every sale, every follower, and every new plushie I create is a step forward. And for 2026, I want to be intentional about building on that momentum.

This year, I’m laying out clear, meaningful goals to help me grow faster, work smarter, and build the creative business I dream of. Here’s what I’m focusing on for 2026:



1. Create at Least 2 New Patterns a Month


Designing patterns is one of the most rewarding parts of my craft, and I want to challenge myself to stay creative and consistent.Two new patterns a month feels manageable, exciting, and perfect for expanding what I offer.



2. Make 2 Plushies Every Week


Even if they’re small ones, I want to keep my hands moving and my inventory growing. Creating consistently means there’s always something new for customers to discover—online or at craft fairs.



3. Post Content More Consistently (1–2 Videos a Week)


I know how important consistency is for growth online.In 2026, I’m committing to posting at least one to two videos a week so I can stay visible and continue building my audience across platforms.


Right now, my social media numbers are:

  • Facebook: 16 likes / 24 followers

  • TikTok: 3,408 followers / 10,100 likes

  • Instagram: 14 followers

  • YouTube: 134 subscribers


Growing these platforms can feel like an uphill climb—especially monetization—but I’m hopeful that consistency will make a big difference.



4. Do More Craft Fairs


Craft fairs have always been one of the best places for me to connect with customers face-to-face.

  • 2024: 1 craft fair

  • 2025: 3 craft fairs


For 2026, I’m aiming for 4 or more. They motivate me, they challenge me, and they’re great for reaching new people.



5. Identify My Most Profitable Plushies and Make More of Them


Two of my best-sellers deserve special focus:


Mini Cats – $8

I’m firm on the price—people love them, they’re affordable, and I consistently sell out or almost sell out. They’re absolutely worth continuing.


Ultra Mini Chickens – $3

These tiny chickens are the perfect “draw people in” item. They’re fun for kids and adults, budget-friendly, and they move FAST. At one craft fair I brought a whole basket and sold out completely!

In 2026, I want to pay close attention to which items are making the biggest impact on my sales and lean into those strengths.





6. Keep Up With My Daily Business Journal


This helps me track my progress, stay focused, and get a better sense of what’s working—and what’s not.



7. Stick to a Weekly Content & Creation Schedule


I want to follow a consistent routine, like:

  • Monday: Crochet a new product

  • Tuesday: Photograph & film it

  • Wednesday: Post the content

  • Thursday: Write a blog post


Having a rhythm makes creativity feel less chaotic and more sustainable.



8. Get My Craft Space Organized


Keeping track of yarn, materials, finished products, and craft fair supplies can get overwhelming. In 2026, I want to designate a specific space for everything so it’s easier to manage and less stressful.



9. Improve My Record-Keeping & Digitize Everything


Expenses like yarn, bags, booth fees, and other materials add up quickly. For 2026, I’m committing to:

  • Digitizing receipts

  • Tracking expenses better

  • Clearly seeing profit after costs and taxes


This will help me understand the real numbers behind my business.



10. Create More, Scroll Less


It’s easy to fall into the trap of watching other creators’ amazing work—but I want to focus that energy inward. Less scrolling, more creating. More of my ideas coming to life.



Looking Ahead to 2026


This business means so much to me. My dream is to keep growing it until one day I can leave my day job and focus on crochet full time. I know it may take time, but these goals feel like a meaningful step in the right direction.


Slow growth is still growth. And in 2026, I’m ready to grow with purpose.
